You have to genuinely love the actors in this film to really be interested an appreciate the story. I happen to be completely in love with most of them so it was very easy to love this film.

The Misfits (1961)
I didn't see many things "Misfit-y" about them. And the whole time I was rooting against the plot of the story. I think that's a bad sign.
Funny People (2009)
Judd Apatow needs to get over everything that he is stuck on. It had SEVERAL, keep in mind several, short funny moments but barely laugh out loud-able.
