I cannot praise this film enough. I saw it in Boston, at the film festival on a complete whim. Walking into the theater, I had no idea that I was about to embark on an incredibly emotional and draining, yet cathartic journey. The most telling moment was when the closing credits came on, the lights came up, and the audience sat still - silently weeping. Though I have not had a personal experience with Alzheimer's, this film enabled me to understand the deep sadness through the story and the characters. Years later, I can still remember the emotional wash I felt - and am all the better for it.
