They turned Mr. Hyde into the Hulk... and didn't bother to make up for it with a good script that conveyed some plot or characterizations.
I really wish they had retained the weird surrealism and borderline-nonsense affair of the animated series, but as it stands, this live action remake is a pretty decent (if average) dystopian sci-fi film, with some nicely done sequences and Theron's beautiful eyes.
