I am a sucker for any H.P. Lovecraft film and this is one of the best, Re-Animator! Here we have a mad scientist, the undead, and a little gore action. I mean there's... More

It was terrible, I fell asleep and it pained me to wake up and see that the movie was still going on. I would of walked out, but these are desperate times and i don't... More

George Romero brings us a film about a military biological weapon that has accidentally been released in a small town in Pennsylvania. Its not the usual Zombie apocalypse that we have come to know Romero for. Its kinda funny that Romero didn't stray too far from the Undead. The inhabitants of this town seem to wander around aimlessly and act like Zombies, so really it must of not been that big of a stretch. The film was made around the Watergate time and the end of the Vietnam war, so you couldn't trust the government. The military was portrayed as foolish, abusive, barbarians. I'm pretty sure the director knew what he wanted you to think of the government when he was making this. Not really too much scariness in the film, I like the whole idea of a biological weapon leaking out over a small town, driving everyone nuts. That's really about it on the scary factor, i felt kind of jipped. I wanted to see this movie for a while and it was actually pretty boring. They are remaking it in 2010 with Timothy Olyphant, so i guess there is that... I would have to give The Crazies 4/10. The gas masks and suits looked kinda cool i guess, some people say that George Lucas stole his idea for storm troopers from this film, but i don't see it.

Dont drink the water
