The movie's only weakness is that it is a little too long. They could've cut out about twenty minutes and it still would've been good. What I roll my eyes at is how... More

Another movie that left me feeling somewhat satisfied and scratching my head at the same time. The premise is a great idea. A man is being hunted for the computer information that he stores in his head. Sounds like a good premise for a kick-ass sci-fi film. Unfortunately not in this case.

I will admit the style and visuals of this movie are good with the cyberpunk feel and the above average '90s special effects, but everything else is questionable.

We all know that Keanu's acting is hit and miss so I won't even go there. Everyone else however.........
Henry Rollins in real life is an intelligent badass so I can see why he was chosen to be Spider, but his character had no real personality and I didn't really like him too much; I didn't hate him, but didn't like him enough. As a matter of fact all of the characters are like that, even Johnny.

The editing is almost laughable. It's almost like they took the takes that were "okay" and placed them in instead of using the "great" ones.

You'd think that having the same guy who wrote the short story this is based off of write the script would be like striking oil, but they didn't drill deep enough and you have this and it almost killed Keanu's career.

If you're in for something that doesn't require a lot of substance, this film is a good weekend rent. It's nothing special but something you can eat popcorn with.
