This is an awesome movie. I don't know why people don't like this movie. The movie has very good performances by Sam Neill, Julie Carmine, and all of the supporting actors. Although I don't know much about H.P. Lovecraft, I can definitely see a tie-in to his works. Possessed townsfolk, terrifying creatures, and a very suspenseful plot make this a good film to give you a few scares. The special effects and lighting in this movie are terrific. I was terrified of this movie when I was a kid, and I still love it now. Definitely check it out!
