I had the great misfortune to experience this "film" on my way to Kona in September; the good news is that I arrived in Kona a few hours later, and the spirit of Aloha quickly erased any unpleasant memories of the event.

I'll spare you a plot summary or synopsis of characters, which you can read at length in any of the RT reviews available. Suffice it to say that this thing was so unwatchable that we stopped trying to struggle through it after 20 minutes. Murphy's overdone schtick was so silly it wasn't even kid-worthy (well, maybe four-year-olds); the non-existent chemistry between the cute young lady who hits him with her car in the first two minutes and "Dave" is simply vanity at its finest. This is a great example of what happens when "stars" start believing their own publicist's hype and think that any nonsense they peddle is golden. Don't even bother. This thing makes "Van Helsing" look like "Citizen Kane" in comparison.
