If you find that funny, you're probably going to love this film. Assuming that this hasn't been butchered for the US market at least. It's coming out two years after the UK release and the trailers look like two completely different movies. But I can vouch for the UK version being a lot of fun, lots of energy and something that would never have been made in the US. Comedy dog murder, rampant underage sexuality and drug abuse, glorification of theft, fraud and anarchy. Love the film. It's not polished, it's not deep, and I don't think it cares in the slightest. Only real weak point is Russel Brand who sucks badly even in a role that you'd think would be perfect for him. But wow - they really butchered the US trailer. I hope they haven't touched the film itself. |

It occurs to me that UK slang may not translate into the US. Poppers = Amyl Nitrate. Also in the US trailer, I note they use the phrase "Hogwarts for psychos". In the original, the word is "Pikeys". Very different meaning / joke.
