A truly great film and a credit to the genre. Despite it's great age, it has aged extremely well and remains scary to this day. Unlike most early slasher films, it... More

A truly great film and a credit to the genre. Despite it's great age, it has aged extremely well and remains scary to this day. Unlike most early slasher films, it remains outside the realm of camp by staying suspenseful throughout. This is the film that set the bar for all slasher films, as well as unfortunately opening the floodgates for the next thiry years of badness. Still an excellent movie with a great plot, great acting and truly suspenseful development. Any movie that came out 13 years before i was born and can still make me jump and squeal like a little girl after repeated viewings is worth a watch.
