I joined for that... I do like the site but without that I see no reason to stay or recommend other to create a account and give you my personal information. If that feature is not working you SHOULD post that somewhere, for sure a lot of people joined RT for the "My Critics" feature.

And when that works right again, also do a big deal and sent a mail...

To clarify:
If you had MyCritics set up previously, before the Community section was redesigned, then the critics you had on that list will still show up in MyCritics. What's currently unavailable is the ability to add any more critics to an existing MyCritics list or the ability to create a new list altogether.

first - you join up thinking that it will give you a handy feature called 'my critics'

second - you waste a considerable amount of time figuring out how to use it

third - you're one of the lucky ones if you end up at this forum to discover that you're not crazy, it doesn't work at all, they've nabbed your email address on false pretenses, and you discover there's two types of countless other pissed of people just like yourself - those that bothered to say how pissed off they are here, and those who never found a place to voice their frustration.

to be polite about it, this is the worst piece of web design I think I have ever encountered, and further evidence Murdoch thinks he can systematically fool his hapless readers as though they are idiotic monkeys, the crook!

This is a privacy issue, I resent the fact my email address has been collected under false pretenses.

I, too, joined exclusively for this feature. I have sent the following email to RT via the "Contact Us" section of this website:

To whom it may concern (and if you are employed by RT or IGN and you are reading this, then it should concern you):
I have been a member of RT for about an hour and I will likely soon be cancelling that membership. I registered for this site, per the instruction of RT, so that I could avail myself of the "My Critics" feature. Upon joining, I was unable to figure out how access this feature and, upon consulting the forums, I discovered the reason. It would appear that, though this feature has never functioned correctly, RT has continued for two years to advertise this as a functional aspect of the site and a benefit of membership. I will be including a copy of this email on that forum discussion page so that others may benefit from its content and may decide to take similar action.
I have included my email address on this form and appreciate a prompt reply. If RT has not addressed these concerns to my satisfaction, by issuing a full apology and a detailed explanation of what RT is currently doing to prevent further false information from being provided to consumers (either by restoring the functionality of this section or by replacing the solicitation to register in order to access this tab with a disclaimer that this feature is not currently functional), then in 14 days I will initiate complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection groups and discontinue my use of your website permanently.

If I do receive a response, I will post it on this forum in its entirety so that those of you who have not already left the site in frustration will be aware of RT's position on the current situation.

I suppose I am one of the lucky ones who created a my critics list before the feature went down so the my critics tab works for me. Today I wanted to add another critic and found out that the feature has been done away with so you can't add or subtract. I hope it comes back.
